Law struggles to keep up with changes in society and the economy

The law is a reflection of society. It reflects the values, beliefs and norms of society. But as
society changes, so does the legal system.
Nowadays everything is happening so fast. Technology is changing at an incredible rate and
our economy is moving at a lightning pace. This means that laws need to keep up with the times.
The law is a profession that is constantly changing. The last two decades have seen many
changes in the world, especially in the economy and technology. These changes have made it
harder for lawyers to keep up with them. Here are some of these changes:
· Today, social media is used for business purposes more than ever before. Lawyers must be
aware of what people are saying about their clients on social media platforms like Facebook
and Twitter. This can help them build a better case and win their cases faster.
· Lawyers need to be careful when they use social media because they can lose their jobs if they
post anything inappropriate or illegal on there. For example, if you put up something that could
get your client into trouble then you could lose your job as well as your license to practice law
if you’re not careful with what you post on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and
LinkedIn.
· The internet has made it easier for people to file lawsuits against each other because they do
not have to go through an attorney to file these suits anymore; instead, they can simply file
these suits online using an online complaint filing.
The law is not just about what happens in courtrooms; it’s also about how we live our lives
outside of courtrooms.
